Little games & ideas

Some are games I’ve made with my partner, others are just little ideas I’ve had.

My focus tends to be on creative direction, game design, UX, art & viz dev and my partner is an engineer as well as a wonderful writer, who also does audio and level design! We make a great team :)

Quarantine in Paris

We moved to France during the COVID-19 pandemic (yay). When we arrived in Paris, we had to quarantine ourselves away for 2 weeks (during a heatwave I might add).

So we decided to make a little point and click game - sort of an interactive memory if you will. In this memory you can walk around the apartment and interact with different areas and items. Mom even leaves you a variety of different leftovers outside your door, and you never know who’ll show up on the balcony!

I really think there’s potential in “interactive memories” as a thing if I’m being honest. It’s so lovely to look back over and feels so deeply personal. I’d love to work on a program that would allow easy creation of these for anyone interested.

Explorer island

I’ve worked on many variations of a “wholesome” Animal Crossing-esque game. I haven’t quite found the one I like enough to dedicate myself to just yet. So I just keep experimenting! One day though, it’s the kind of game I’d really love to make. I would especially like it to focus on meditation & introspection.

Most of my work on this is in dozens of different notebooks that there’s no point of me posting here. But it’s there!!!

Meditation/Emotions Game

A game I would still really like to work on someday. Based around movement, stillness, and exploring your emotions.
